Benban 200 MW Solar Park – Aswan

Project Overview

The Benban Solar Park, located in the Aswan Governorate of Egypt, is one of the world's largest solar photovoltaic (PV) power stations, with a total planned capacity exceeding 1,600 MW. Damnhour participated in the 200 MW solar project within the complex, which consists of four 50 MW solar plants situated on the Aswan-Cairo desert road in the village of Benban, Daraw. The full Benban complex spans approximately 8,843 acres and involves nearly 40 specialized solar companies, with a total investment of roughly $3.4–4 billion. The project supports Egypt's renewable energy goals and feeds electricity into the national grid.
